Fiber Rush

you will need: a chair with rungs, A coil of fiber rush, 
a rush shuttle, a how-to book, and tacks

A fiber rush seat is not as difficult as it appears. A coil will reseat an average chair.

a nice seat.

fiber braid fiber braid

Fiber rush is a very strong acceptable alternative to natural flag. It is best for beginners and production weavers, very easy to use. This paper comes pre-twisted. One coil do an average seat that is about 16" x 15". Over the years the paper has more recycled fibers, this makes for a softer and heavier product. We have tried to maintain the traditional method of dollar amount related to a weight of two pounds. We have changed to a coil of the proper footage, with a 2+ pound weight.
